So, we’ve got another entry in the memefic; Bryce Harrington builds atop Dave’s entry, taking a Lovecraftian turn.
That makes at least three available entries for you to start from. Lovecraft fans can run with Bryce’s; others can pick one of the others if they like.
It’s worth noting that, while H.P. Lovecraft did name a race of creatures “Chthonians”, chthonic is simply an ordinary English adjective meaning alternately “of the earth” or “of the underworld”.
Sinister-sounding though, isn’t it?
