Reverse IKVM
So, now that Open Source developers are returning to the JVM, how long before we see something like IKVM to run CLR bytecode on the JVM? I ask since now that Sun’s releasing the Java 7 libraries under the same license as GNU Classpath, mono with IVKM should soon be able to run Java programs just about as well as Sun Java, in addition to all the usual software for the CLR. It seems like it would be in Sun’s best interest for someone to address that asymmetry.
