Inkscape Logo Redesign

In preparation for Inkscape’s 0.44 release, our resident graphic artist Andy Fitzsimon decided to clean up our aging logo. Like the original Inkscape logo, it quickly turned into a group effort: one of us would do a revision of the logo, put it up for comment, then folks would go off and do their own versions, repeating the process. Some ideas survived, some failed to pass muster. No egos. Just honest criticism and thoughtful collaboration.

Not a massive change, but I’m quite pleased with the result.
