Just the fact that this has been attempted gives me a lot of hope for the future of graphic narrative in the US.
(The endorsement by Stan Lee is kind of a kick in the teeth, though, given that his superhero fixation is one of the reasons it’s so hard to market non-superhero comics today in the first place.)
