The final policy is up; it’s a little weird, but nowhere near as draconian as the initial impression that had been given.

The main weirdness, I guess: why allow selling doujinshi, but not fanart prints? If fanart prints were permitted to the same degree as doujinshi, I don’t think there would be very many complaints about this set of rules.

Update: It looks like they’re going to relax the fanart prints rule. As long as it’s a fairly clear guideline and the limit on quantity isn’t ridiculously low, that’ll make for a pretty decent set of rules overall.

On the other hand, it was pointed out to me that “Artists’ Alley” has been renamed to just “The Alley”. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
