No Fanart at Otakon?
Apparently fanart’s going to be banned from Otakon’s artist alley this year.
The five pillars of the Anime convention have always been: anime, AMV, fanart, doujinshi, and cosplay. Given that the first two have already been suffering at Otakon lately, this is kind of the last straw for a lot of people—it sounds like a lot of folks I know probably won’t be going. I don’t think I’ll be going either.
